The Role:
JCDecaux is currently seeking a Technical Operations Manager – LAX Airport, who will report to the EVP of Digital Operations and Technology will be responsible for overseeing the monitoring and seamless operation of the cutting-edge video display systems at Los Angeles International Airport.

This is a full-time position based in the LAX airport, Tom Bradley International Terminal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Network Operations Center Technicians at LAX airport.
  • Daily monitoring of the advertising displays throughout the LAX Airport and Tom Bradley International Terminal.
  • Responsible for visual inspections for content-related issues and content verifications by conducting walkthroughs while on shift.
  • Digital content receipt, analysis, and manipulation (encoding, minimal editing and rendering)
  • Analyze field issues according to outlined documentation from the control room.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues on-site whether hardware or software related.
  • Comfortable using various hand tools and testing instruments, ladders, lifts to accomplish assigned tasks.
  • Respond to digital display issues that are directly reported by the airport.
  • Escalate issues to second support level as needed (Internal and third-party support teams).
  • Maintain daily internal status reports as well as communicating major equipment failure both internally and to appropriate airport staff.
  • Maintain records of digital equipment inventory.
  • Provide professional interaction with internal operations, external vendors and airport staff while working through various system repairs and outages.
  • Operate and maintain audio/video distribution systems.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Experience in leadership position.
  • Professional Digital A/V or IT experience.
  • Responsible use of power and hand tools.
  • Experience with any of the following technologies is a plus: Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Windows 10, Remote Desktop, Linux.
  • Flexibility to assist in 24/7 NOC coverage while maintaining a regular work schedule.
  • Motivated to learn new technology.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards is a plus.
  • Prior experience operating scissor/boom lifts is preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. overhead for short duration of time.
  • Comfortable working on a ladder and aerial lifts and platforms. 
  • Strong ability to work and lead independently.

Additional Information:
Base Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000
