The Role:
JCDecaux is hiring a Digital Maintenance Technician who will report to the Operations Manager and work out of our Maspeth, NY warehouse. 

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, repair, and install digital systems and related components, including LED boards, fans, relays, power supplies, thermostats, and motors, utilizing soldering techniques, field power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Install, repair, and maintain electrical utility connections on the low-voltage side of equipment.
  • Read schematic diagrams and engineering drawings; analyze PCB boards; and utilize testing equipment to diagnose and troubleshoot issues within electrical components, circuits, and systems.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and repair network cabling issues, including the replacement of faulty cables following diagnosis and verification.
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of various LED display configuration environments and operating systems.
  • Collaborate with the Network Operations Center (NOC), Con Edison, and licensed electricians to ensure optimal performance of digital systems and minimize downtime.
  • Support field operations, including snow removal and site maintenance activities, as required to meet contractual obligations with city agencies.
  • Unload materials from delivery vehicles and coordinate the distribution of equipment, tools, and supplies to various site locations.

Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license required, with the ability to operate a company vehicle and travel between work locations throughout New York City.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, industrial safety practices, machine shop operations, and basic electrical principles.
  • Available to respond to operational emergencies and urgent service issues as needed.
  • Ability to perform extended periods of driving in heavy traffic and varying road conditions.
  • Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Responsible for transporting tools, equipment, and materials to and from work sites.
  • Ability to safely climb ladders, stairs, and work vehicles while conducting site inspections or supporting field operations.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, reach, and perform other physical activities throughout the workday.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and exposed to varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, snow, and elevated noise levels.
  • Ability to work safely in and around electrical equipment, including high-voltage systems.
  • Proficient in the safe use of hand tools and operational equipment as required to support maintenance activities.
  • Required to wear and comply with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safety protocols.
Additional Information:
Base Salary:  $55,000 + benefits
