The Role:
JCDecaux is currently seeking a Field Operations Technician Supervisor, who will report to the Director of Operations and will be responsible for analyzing data coming in from first-hand field inspections, testing, and reports from technicians, the public feedback, and computers data collected. 

This is a full-time temporary position, with the potential to go permanent position based in San Francisco in and will operate in the field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Field repairs and troubleshooting of JCD equipment and machines such as mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic functions of our field equipment. This includes preventative maintenance.
  • Propose solutions to improve the team’s efficiency and processes.
  • Complete all daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled maintenance tasks of APT/ PSK
  • Respond to emergency issues as needed.
  • Interact with the public toilet’s attendants and Community Groups as needed.
  • Ensure company processes with cleaning technicians are followed and take appropriate action (i.e., non-compliance of company standards, uniform, excessive tardiness, tools, equipment, driving.)
  • Daily meetings with Director of Operations and Field Supervisors to discuss any issues and solutions with equipment and team performance.
  • Verify all field staff work assignments are properly allocated and all personnel have proper parts and tools to complete assigned tasks.
  • Office and admin tasks as needed, including data entry, office, and field coordination.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Outdoor field position at job sites on the street of San Francisco with contact with the public
  • Some warehouse and administrative operations experience preferred.
  • This job involves some manual labor, including driving, lifting, carrying, standing/walking for extended periods and operating manual and/or mechanical/electronic equipment.
  • Knowledge of electro-mechanical and electronic pieces of machinery is mandatory. We are looking for someone who has worked with Program Logic Control (PLC) machinery and equipment controlled by software. The ideal candidate will have experience using devices to test and adjust these software programs accordingly.
  • Understanding of digital screens and LED functionality a must.
  • Troubleshooting and doing preventive maintenance on-site.
  • Understanding of electric components. We are looking for someone who has a basic understanding of electrical work like measuring voltage and reading specs.  
  • Supervision experience of a small operations team a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals.
  • Ability to work alone, being consistent, and detail oriented.
  • Ability to interact with the public.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with internal and external partners.
  • Flexibility to work varied days and hours. We operate 7 days a week with 2 shifts.
  • Experience working with unions a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Additional Information:
Base Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000
