JCDecaux is currently seeking an Operations Night Manager. This person will oversee all overnight LAX Operations and team members, ensure high standards of safety, quality control, and staff productivity while operating with minimal supervision.
This is a full-time field position based in our LA warehouse/office.

The Role:
JCDecaux is currently seeking an Operations Night Manager. This person will oversee all overnight LAX Operations and team members, ensure high standards of safety, quality control, and staff productivity while operating with minimal supervision.
This is a full-time field position based in our LA warehouse/office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily communication with the Operations Team to update status of all projects, personnel, issues and processes. Excellent verbal and written skills required.
- Direct and supervise night shift associates, assigning tasks to ensure maximum productivity, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.
- Assign and coordinate tasks to maintain efficient workflows across all operational and digital work.
- Verify all night postings.
- Coordinate and oversee inspections including Quarterly Digital Inspections and Annual Structural and Electrical Inspections.
- Oversee MOBOPS verifications, including staff training and troubleshooting.
- Serve as point of contact for LAWA coordination as required (USR on‑site support, lift coordination, nightly safety huddle call‑ins).
- Serve as Safety Coordinator for OSHA‑related requirements.
- Shadow inspections involving JCDecaux employees, maintenance technicians, and contractors.
- Perform and oversee safety inspections on vehicles, ladders, harnesses, lifts, forklifts, PPE, fire extinguishers, and other equipment.
- Manage annual training and certification requirements for scissor lifts, boom lifts, and forklifts.
- Complete train‑the‑trainer courses to train and certify staff on Boom, Scissor and Forklift equipment.
- Maintain ISO compliance including tracking and proper handling of e‑waste, hazardous waste, wood, metal, and glass.
- Assist with and perform digital repairs as needed including screen swaps, rack work, connectivity issues, and hardware upgrades.
- Oversee operational workflow, repairs and quality control related to lighting, enclosures, mechanisms, cleanliness, and structural integrity.
- Manage issue resolution by opening and closing operational Issues promptly.
- Support Rolex clock systems including lighting, data/time accuracy, master clocks, and troubleshooting.
- Participate in weekly meetings as required, submit daily operational reports including check‑in/check‑out updates and issue logs for the day team.
- Train, coach, and mentor night-shift employees, ensuring they understand safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support special projects including escorting as required, site installs, exhibits, contractor coordination, lift ordering, and tray swaps.
- Manage inventory including part consumption tracking with the SAP coordinator.
- Oversee asset organization and transport items between the warehouse and LAX.
- Order supplies and maintain general inventory control.
- Maintain overall quality control by ensuring all assets meet JCDecaux standards, verifying proper MOBOPS usage, overseeing vehicle cleanliness and maintenance, and keeping warehouse storage, tools, and equipment organized.
- Support additional operational needs including Beverly Center and local FBO tasks as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree desired but not required.
- Ability to work in fast-paced and demanding environments.
- Ability to maintain clear communication through email, Teams, and other internal channels.
- Strong communicator with excellent multi-tasking skills,
- Ability to work independently.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Computer literate: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Technical skills required, experience supporting construction, electrical, or digital AV projects a plus.
- Previous office experience desired but not required.
